There are a few reasons why your filter gallery might be greyed out in Photoshop. One reason could be that you have not set up the filter preferences correctly. To fix this, open up Photoshop and click on the Preferences button. Then, make sure that the Filter tab is set to “Standard.” If you have other filters in your filter gallery that are not being used, you can delete them by clicking on the trash can icon next to each one and selecting “Delete.”
