If you’re like most Photoshop users, you probably use the Marquee tool to add a marquee around an object or area. The Marquee tool is a great way to add a border around an image, or to create a box around an object. To use the Marquee tool, first make sure that your cursor is on the bottom left corner of the canvas. Then drag the Marquee tool up or down to change its size. To select an entire area of your image, hold down the Option key and drag the Marquee tool over the entire image. When you’ve finished using the Marquee tool, release your mouse button and then click on one of the corners of your image to release it.
