The Area Type tool is a handy tool that can be used to create typography or logos. You can use it to create text or shapes that are specific to a certain area of your design. To use the Area Type tool, first select the object that you want to type or create a logo for. Next, click on the Area Type button located in the Toolbar (or press A). The following options will appear: Text, Shape, and Symbol. Text: This option allows you to type text into your design. You can enter text in any font size that you want and adjust the letter spacing as needed. Shape: This option allows you to create shapes out of your text using various tools such as the Rectangle Tool (R), Ellipse Tool (L), and Pathfinder (P).
