If you’re like most Photoshop users, you probably have a ton of layers stacked up in your document. But sometimes it can be helpful to get rid of a layer so you can see what’s underneath it. Here’s how to do it:

  1. Select the layer you want to delete.
  2. Click the “eye” icon next to the layer name in the Layers panel and select “Inverse.”
  3. Click OK in the dialog box that appears.
  4. The layer will now be hidden and all its contents will be shown on the underlying layers below it. To remove this layer completely, just drag it off the canvas into the trashcan (or hit Delete on your keyboard). ..
