If you’re like most people, you use a keyboard to type on your computer. But what if you want to type on your iPad? You can use the Path app, but it’s not as easy as using a keyboard. In this article, we’ll show you how to type on Path in Illustrator for iPad. First, open the Path app and create a new document. (You can also open an existing document if you’ve already opened it in Illustrator.) Next, tap the Type button at the top of the app and select Text. (You can also press Command+T.) Now enter some text into the text field and tap anywhere outside of it to exit Text mode. Next, switch to the Path panel by pressing Command+J (or by clicking the Path panel icon at the bottom of the screen). Now enter a path into the path field and press Return or Enter to commit your changes. (If you make a mistake while typing, just press Backspace or Delete to erase your current character and start over.) ..
