If you’re like most people, you probably use two-step verification (2SV) to protect your personal information when playing PlayStation 4. This feature helps ensure that only people who have been authenticated by your account can play your game. 2SV is a great feature, but it can be a bit of a pain to turn it off without having to sign in on PS4. Here’s how to do it:

  1. Open the PlayStation 4 system software and click on the “Settings” icon in the top left corner of the screen.
  2. Scroll down and click on the “Security” tab in the bottom left corner of the screen.
  3. Click on the “2SV” icon in the top right corner of the screen and then click on the “Turn Off 2 Step Verification” button.
  4. The system will ask you for your username and password before turning off 2SV. If you don’t have them, you can create them now by clicking on the “Create New Username & Password” button in the bottom right corner of the screen.
