If you’re looking to move your data from your PlayStation 4 to an external hard drive, there are a few things to keep in mind. First, make sure that the PS4 and external hard drive are connected to the same network. Next, make sure that the PS4 is set up to allow remote access. Finally, use the Media Transfer Protocol (MTP) to transfer your data. To connect the PS4 and external hard drive, first make sure that they’re both connected to the same network. To do this, open the Settings menu on your PS4 and select System > Network. If you have a router, you may need to enter your router’s IP address into this screen as well. Once they’re both connected, open up the PlayStation App on your phone or computer and sign in with your account information. From here, you can select Files > Add File from External Storage and browse for the external hard drive where you want to store your data. To transfer data using MTP, first make sure that both devices are signed in with their accounts and have been connected to the same network for at least five minutes. Next open up the PlayStation App on your phone or computer and select Files > Add File from External Storage again. This time choose MTP as the file type and browse for where you want to store your data on the external hard drive. Once you’ve found it, click Open and wait for the data transfer process to finish. ..
