If you’re ever feeling like you can’t seem to fix your PlayStation 4, there’s a good chance it’s because you don’t know how to take it apart. Here are some tips on how to take it apart for the first time:
- Open the console by unscrewing the four screws at the back of the unit.
- Remove the two memory cards by pulling them out of their sockets and then pushing them towards each other so they fall out of the console.
- Remove the two power cables by unscrewing them and then pulling them out of their sockets.
- Disconnect all wires from the console by running a wire stripper or using pliers to cut through the insulation and then pulling it off in strips.
