If you’re like most people, you probably don’t want to take apart your ps4. But if you want to fix or upgrade it, or just want to know how it works, taking it apart is a necessary step. There are a few different ways to take apart a ps4. The easiest way is to remove the screws that hold the front and back panels together. Then lift the panels off and set them aside. Inside the console, there are several circuit boards and other components. To get at them, you need to remove some of the screws that hold the motherboard in place. After removing those screws, gently pull out the motherboard and set it aside. There are also several cables connected to the motherboard. Disconnect them by gently pulling on their connectors. Be careful not to pull on any of the wires themselves; you might damage them. Once all of the cables have been disconnected, you can start taking apart the console itself. Start by removing all of the screws that hold down the sides of the console; they’re usually located near where each power cable enters or leaves it. Once all of those screws have been removed, carefully pull up on one side of the console until it pops off its baseplate (or stand). Be careful not to lose any parts while doing this! Now that everything is separated, it’s time for some cleanup work! Remove any dust or debris from around each component with a vacuum cleaner or a cloth dampened in rubbing alcohol (just be sure not to get any liquid inside any components). Finally, reattach everything according to instructions and enjoy your newly disassembled ps4! ..
