If you’re like most people, you probably space your letters in Photoshop using the default settings. But what are those settings, and is there a better way to do it? The default spacing in Photoshop is based on the typeface you’re using. If you’re using a sans-serif typeface, like Arial or Helvetica, the default spacing is 1 pixel. If you’re using a serif typeface, like Times New Roman or Georgia, the default spacing is 2 pixels. There’s no right or wrong answer here - it’s just something to keep in mind if you want your letters to look uniform throughout your document. You can also change the spacing manually by selecting the text tool and clicking on the “Spacing” tab at the bottom of the window.
