When you create a vector file in Illustrator, you have the option of saving it as a PDF or PNG. PDF files are more efficient to store and can be opened on a computer with Adobe Acrobat Reader. PNG files are more efficient to open because they don’t have any background noise and can be used for illustrations that need high resolution. However, if you want to save your vector file as a PNG, make sure that your computer is able to handle the file size and that the graphics card is able to render it at high resolutions.
