If you’re a user of Illustrator, then there’s a good chance that you’ve set up some preferences in order to make your work more efficient and productive. But if you’re like most people, you may not have reset your preferences after a new version of Illustrator is released. Here’s how to do it:

  1. Open Illustrator and click the Preferences button on the left side of the main window.
  2. In the Preferences window, select the General tab.
  3. In the General tab, select Reset Preferences from the drop-down list next to Reset All Settings.
  4. Click Reset Preferences and confirm by clicking OK twice.
