If you’re like most people, you probably have a PlayStation 4 console. But if you don’t know how to reset it, now is the time to learn. Here’s how:
- Open the console’s power button and hold it down for about 10 seconds. This will turn off the console.
- Open the system software by pressing “E” on your keyboard or “F5” on your computer.
- Scroll down to “Reset” and press it. The console will reboot and ask you to choose a language before resetting. Choose English this time around!
- After the reset has finished, close all of your programs and open your PlayStation 4 again (assuming you closed them when you last resetted it). If everything went well, your PlayStation 4 should be back up and running as if nothing happened!
