There are a few ways to remove a gradient in Illustrator. The first way is to use the Gradient tool. To use the Gradient tool, click on the gradient thumbnail and then drag it to the desired location on the canvas. The second way is to use the Pathfinder tool. To use the Pathfinder tool, click on one of the gradient thumbnails and then drag it to the desired location on the canvas. Finally, you can also use the Marquee tool to select a specific area of a gradient and then press Command-V (or right-click and choose Vector > Marquee).
