If you’re like most people, you probably use Photoshop to edit photos and graphics. But what if you want to do more than just fix mistakes? What if you want to add a little extra polish to your work? In this article, we’ll show you how to refine your edges in Photoshop CC 2017. First, let’s take a look at the basics of edge refinement. Edge refinement is a technique that can be used to make your images look sharper and more professional. It’s especially useful when you need to remove unwanted artifacts (like blemishes or wrinkles) from images. To start refining your edges, open the image that you want to improve in Photoshop CC 2017. Next, select the Edges tool (L). You’ll see three options on the toolbar: Smooth, Sharpen, and Unsharp Mask. Smooth is the default option and it will smooth out all of the edges in the image. Sharpen will sharpen the edges while leaving any details behind. Unsharp Mask will sharpen the edges while also removing any details around them (this is what we use most often). To refine an edge using Smooth mode, simply click on it with the Edges tool (L). To refine an edge using Sharpen mode, click on it once with the Edges tool (L), then hold down Shift and click on it again with the Edges tool (L). To refine an edge using Unsharp Mask mode, first click on it with the Edges tool (L), then hold down Alt and click on it again with the Edges tool (L). ..
