Sony has just announced that they will be releasing a new PS4 wallet feature that will allow users to put money on the console. The wallet will be available as a free update to all PS4 owners. The wallet will work in much the same way as Apple’s App Store and Google Play, where users can purchase games, apps and other content. The wallet will also allow users to spend money on PlayStation Plus subscriptions, PlayStation Vue services and other digital content. The release of the PS4 wallet comes at a time when Sony is facing increasing competition from Microsoft and Nintendo. Microsoft has recently released their own Xbox One S console with a built-in cash drawer, while Nintendo is rumoured to be working on a similar feature for their upcoming Switch console. ..
