If you’re like most people, you probably use Photoshop to edit photos and create graphics. But did you know that Photoshop has a Posterize command that can help you create professional-looking posters? In this article, we’ll show you how to use the Posterize command to create a poster that looks great on your wall or in your home office. First, open the image that you want to posterize in Photoshop. Next, select the Posterize command from the Edit menu. (You can also press Ctrl+P.) In the options bar, make sure the Mode is set to “Poster.” Click OK to start posterizing the image. When posterizing an image, Photoshop will first reduce the size of the image by reducing its resolution. This will result in a poster-sized version of your image that’s about 24 inches wide by 36 inches high. You can adjust these dimensions by changing the Width and Height values in the options bar. Once you’ve set these values, Photoshop will begin reducing the resolution of your image again. This process will continue until either your image reaches its maximum resolution or it’s reduced down to a size smaller than 24 inches wide by 36 inches high. (If you want to keep more detail in your posterized version of your image, try setting Minimum Resolution value lower.) When Photoshop finishes reducing your image, it’ll generate a final poster-sized version of it that’s ready for printing or displaying onscreen. To print or display your posterized image, simply click on it with your mouse and then choose one of Photoshop’s print options (like Print or File -> Print). ..
