If you’re like most people, you probably use Adobe Illustrator to create graphics and illustrations. And if you’re like most people, you probably also know that Illustrator can be a bit of a pain to paste things in place. Here’s how to do it:

  1. Open your Illustrator file and select the object or objects you want to paste in place.
  2. Click the “Paste” button (or press Ctrl+V) and choose “Paste In Place.”
  3. If the object is large, it may take a few seconds for Illustrator to paste it in place. Be patient!
  4. When the object is in place, click on it to select it and then click on the “Align” button (or press Ctrl+T).
  5. Choose one of the alignment options and then click on the “OK” button. ..
