When you’re creating an image for your website, you want to make sure that it looks professional and looks like it was made by someone who knows what they’re doing. One way to do this is by outlining the image in Photoshop. To outline an image, select the Image>Outline command and then click on the first box in the resulting list. The following window will appear: In this window, you can choose how much of the image to outline and how wide to make the outline. You can also choose whether or not to have a border around the edge of the outline. If you don’t want a border, then click on OK. If you want a border around the edge of your outline, then select the Border>Line command and then click on one of the boxes in the resulting list. The following window will appear: In this window, you can choose how much of a line to create and how wide to make it. You can also choose whether or not to have a start and end point for your line. If you don’t want a start and end point, then click on OK. If you want to add text into your outline, then select Text>Outline Text and then click on one of the boxes in the resulting list. The following window will appear: In this window, you can type in any text that you want into one of the fields (e.g., name or company). You can also use arrow keys to move between different fields in order to change which text is highlighted when you highlight it with an arrow key (e.g., moving from Name field to Company field). Once all text has been entered into one of these fields, click on OK so that your outline is created!
