If you’re like most people, you probably use Illustrator to create illustrations and graphics. But if you want to merge overlapping paths in Illustrator, there are a few steps you need to take. First, select the paths that you want to merge. Then, click on the Merge button. In the resulting dialog box, enter the values for the overlap factors. The overlap factor is important because it determines how much of each path will be merged together. You can also choose a threshold value if you want to merge only some of the paths but not all of them. Next, click on OK to merge the paths. If everything goes well, your new illustration will look similar to the one in Figure 1.
