Snowflakes are a popular design element in Illustrator. You can make them in a variety of ways, but the most common way is to use the “flutter” effect. To create a flutter effect, you need to create a layer with an opacity of 100%. Then, add a layer with an opacity of 50%. Finally, add a layer with an opacity of 25%. Now that you have three layers, let’s start creating snowflakes. In the first layer, draw two snowflakes. Make them small and round. Then, make them white and have them point down. In the second layer, draw another snowflake. This time, make it larger and more pointed than the first one. Finally, make it black and have it point up. Now that you’ve created your snowflakes, let’s add them to your document! To do this, select all of your snowflakes and press Command+A (or right-click on one and choose “add to document”). Now that they’re added to your document, you can start drawing your flakes!
