Smoke is a popular design element in Illustrator. You can create it using the tools at your disposal, or you can use a program like Adobe Photoshop to create it. The first step is to create a basic smoke shape. To do this, use the Rectangle tool and draw a rectangle that is about twice the size of your smoke shape. Next, use the Polygonal tool to add some basic shapes to your smoke shape. You can use any shapes you like, but a good choice would be an ellipse or an arch. Finally, use the Gradient tool to add some different colors to your smoke shape. You can choose any color you like, but I recommend using something dark and complementary to your smoke’s original color.
