If you want to make a square in Photoshop, there are a few different ways you can go about it. The first way is to use the Rectangular Marquee Tool (M) and draw a rectangle around the area you want to make a square out of. Then, use the Selection Tool (V) to select the entire rectangle and hit Delete (Backspace on a PC). The second way is to use the Pathfinder tool (P). First, click on the area you want to make a square out of and then click and drag one of the corner points towards the center of your selection. Photoshop will create a new layer called “Pathfinder” above your original image. Now, hold down Ctrl (Command on a PC) and click and drag one of the other corner points towards the center of your selection. This will create another layer called “Pathfinder” above your original image. Finally, release both buttons. The third way is to use Free Transform (Ctrl+T). First, select all of the pixels inside of your desired square by clicking on them with either the Selection Tool or any other tool that has an outline option such as the Lasso Tool (L). Next, hit Ctrl+T and then enter into Free Transform mode. You can now rotate your square by using either arrow keys or by using handles that appear at each corner while it’s still in Free Transform mode. You can also resize it by using either arrow keys or by dragging one of its corners up or down. ..
