Rainbows are one of the most popular and iconic images in the world. Whether you’re a kid who loves to color in rainbows every day, or an adult who appreciates the beauty of a rainbow every time they see one, learning how to make a rainbow gradient in Illustrator is a great way to add some extra flair to your designs. To create a rainbow gradient, start by creating a new document in Illustrator and setting the size to 800x600 pixels. Next, use the Rectangular Marquee Tool (M) to select the top left corner of your document and drag it down so that it covers about half of your screen. Then, use the Ellipse Tool (L) to create an oval shape just below where you dragged down the Rectangular Marquee Tool. Finally, use the Gradient Tool (G) to fill this new oval with a gradient that starts off light blue and gradually transitions into all different colors of the rainbow. You can experiment with different gradients and colors to get exactly what you want for your Rainbow Gradient design. Be sure to save your work periodically so that you can revisit it later on if you need to make any changes. Happy designing! ..
