If you’re looking to add a little bit of pizzazz to your photos, then you should consider using a polka dot pattern. It’s easy to create in Photoshop, and it can really make your images stand out. Here’s how to do it:
- Start by creating a new document in Photoshop. You can use any size you want, but I recommend using at least 800 x 600 pixels.
- Next, select the Rectangular Marquee Tool (M) and draw a rectangle around the area of your photo that you want to use for the polka dot pattern. Make sure that the rectangle is big enough so that all of your photo will fit inside it once it’s finished.
- Once the rectangle is drawn, press Ctrl+J (PC: Cmd+J) to copy it onto the clipboard.
- Next, go back to your original photo and click on the Edit Menu button (Mac: ⌘-E) and select Paste Special.. This will open up the Paste Special dialog box, where you can paste your copied rectangle into it.
- Once everything has been pasted in, hit OK to close the dialog box and start editing! You can now start adding polka dots wherever you want them on your photo – just be sure to keep an eye on how many dots are taking up each pixel! ..
