If you’re like most people, you probably use Photoshop to create graphics and illustrations. But if you’re looking for a way to make a perspective grid in your document, there’s a good chance you’ve never heard of it. A perspective grid is a handy tool that can help you create more accurate and realistic graphics. It’s simple to use and can be used in any document, but here’s how to make one in Photoshop:
- Open Photoshop and click on the File menu (top left). This will open the File menu with several options. The first option is called “Open With.” Choose this option and then click on the “Photoshop” icon at the top of the menu.
- In the “Open With” dialog box, select “GIMP.” If your computer doesn’t support GIMP, you can try using another photo editor such as Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator. Once GIMP is selected, click on the OK button to close the dialog box.
- In Photoshop, open your file again and select " Perspective Grid." If your file doesn’t have a Perspective Grid icon in it, it may be because it was created using another photo editor such as Adobe Illustrator or Adobe Photoshop instead of Photoshop. Once again, click on the OK button to close the dialog box when prompted.
- To create a perspective grid in your document, simply drag one or more pieces of text or graphics onto one of the squares in your grid and then drag them away from the square so they move into different positions within your grid (you can also use CTRL+SHIFT+DEL to move them). You can also resize each square by dragging its corners around until they fit within their respective squares’ boundaries (you should now have a Perspective Grid ready to use).
