There are a few things you need to do in order to make a crescent moon in Illustrator. First, create a new document and name it “moon.” Next, select the Rectangle tool and click on the center of the moon. Then, drag the rectangle out so that it covers the entire moon. Finally, release the mouse button and release the rectangle.
