There are a few ways to make a border around a shape in Photoshop. The easiest way is to use the Polygonal Lasso tool and select the shape you want to border. Then, use the Polygonal Marquee tool to make a small selection around the edge of the shape. Finally, use the Selection tool to drag and drop the selection into an empty space on your canvas.
