If you’re like most people, you probably use Adobe After Effects to create professional videos, commercials, and other video content. If you’re not familiar with importing Illustrator files into After Effects, now is the time to learn how. First, open After Effects and click on the File menu. Then select Import from File. In the Import dialog box, select the Illustrator file you want to import. Click on OK to finish the import process. Now that you have an Illustrator file imported into After Effects, it’s time to start working with it. To start working with a file, click on its thumbnail in the left-hand panel of the main screen and then click on its name in the right-hand panel. You’ll see a list of options for working with this file: Edit, Render, or Viewer. The Edit option will let you change its properties such as width and height; Render will let you create a new image from this file; and Viewer will show this file in a web browser so that you can work on it offline.
