If you’re like most people, you probably use Photoshop to create graphics, photos, and illustrations. But if you’re like me, you also use it to feather in your hair. In this article, I’m going to show you how to feather in Photoshop using the tools that are available in the program. I’ll also show you how to do it using a simple technique called “feathering in the outliner.” First, open up Photoshop and make sure that the program is set up properly for working with layers. If not, please follow these steps:
- Choose File > New > Layer. This will create a new layer on the screen.
- Name the new layer “Feather In Outliner.”
- Click on the pencil icon at the bottom of the layer palette and start drawing a line down the center of the new layer. You can use any type of line or shape that you want. I just used a straight line because I wanted my feathers to be very even across all of my feathers.
- When you’re finished drawing your line, click on OK to close out Photoshop and return to your original document.
