There are a few things you can do to duplicate an image on Photoshop. The first is to click the Duplicate button on the toolbar. This will create a copy of the image, with all the properties set to the same as the original. Next, select one of the images in your document and click Duplicate. The image will be copied, but with all its properties set to the original. Finally, select another image and click Duplicate again. This time, only change some of the properties if you want to change how the image looks or behaves. If you want to make a copy that is specifically for use in a design project, you can also use Edit > Copy > Paste into Edit Mode and then select one of your images from within Photoshop and paste it into your document.
