If you’re new to Illustrator, or if you’ve been using the program for a while and have forgotten how to draw a circle, this tutorial will help you out. In this article, we will show you how to create a basic circle using the Pen tool in Illustrator. To start, open up Illustrator and create a new document. You can use any size or resolution that you want, but we recommend using at least 600 pixels wide by 800 pixels high. Next, select the Pen tool (P) and click on the artboard to activate it. Now that the Pen tool is active, click on the center of your artboard to set your starting point. As you move your cursor around the artboard, watch as Illustrator creates a circle around it with each stroke of your pen.
