Discord is a free voice and text chat app for PlayStation 4 that can be used to communicate with friends and co-workers. Once you’re logged in, you can access your settings by going to the “Settings” tab and clicking on the “Discord” icon. Here, you’ll find a variety of settings that can be changed depending on your needs. The first setting that you’ll want to change is “Password.” This setting will determine how easily Discord can access your PlayStation 4 account credentials. You can choose to have Discord require a password or not require one at all. If you choose not to require a password, then anyone who joins your server without having one will be able to join without being able to talk or hear anything. However, if you choose to have Discord require a password, then only people who have been authenticated by Discord will be able to join the server. The next setting that you’ll want to change is “Server Name.” This setting will determine the name of the server that Discord will connect to when starting up. You can choose any name that you like, but make sure it’s unique enough so that no other app or service can use it as their server name. The last setting that you’ll want to change is “Port.” This setting will determine how many people are allowed on the server at once. You can set this value anywhere from 0-255 (0 being the maximum number of people allowed).
