If you’re a Square user, there’s a good chance you’ve heard of the company’s new deletion feature. The company just announced that it will be making it easier for users to delete their accounts, and in doing so, they’re hoping to make the platform more user-friendly. The new deletion feature is pretty simple: You’ll need to go to your account settings and click on the “delete my account” button. After that, you’ll be able to choose how long you want your account to stay active (10 or 30 days). Square is hoping that this deletion feature will make it easier for users to move on from the platform and get new accounts or businesses off of their radar. It’s an interesting idea, but we’re not sure if it’ll work as well as Square hopes.
