If you’re a computer user, you know that placeholders can be a lifesaver. They help you remember what information you need to enter into a form, but they can also be used when you don’t have enough information to provide an answer to a question. In Quicken 2015, there are two ways to use placeholders: in the form of questions and in the form of values. Question Placeholders To use question placeholders, open Quicken and click on thequestion icon in the top left corner of the screen. Then type in the information that you want to remember. For example, if you want to remember your bank account balance, you could type “Bank Account” into the question placeholder. Values Placeholders To use values placeholder, open Quicken and click onthevalue icon in the top left corner of the screen. Then type in the information that you want to remember. For example, if you want to remember your bank account balance at $10,000, you could type “Bank Account” into the value placeholder.
