Nintendo has announced that it will be discontinuing the Nintendo Network ID on Wii U. This is a bit of a surprise, as the service had been very popular on the console. However, it is possible to delete your Nintendo Network ID if you wish. To do this, you will need to go to your Wii U’s settings and select “Network & Security.” There, you will need to select “Delete Nintendo Network ID.” Once you have done this, your Wii U will no longer have a Nintendo Network ID.
