If you’re a Premiere Pro user, you know that deleting audio can be a critical step in correcting errors or improving the quality of your videos. But what if you don’t have any audio files to delete? Fortunately, there are a few ways to delete audio in Premiere Pro without any files. First, open the File menu and select “Delete.” Then, select one of the following methods:

  • By pressing the Delete key on your keyboard. This will delete all audio files in the current project.
  • By selecting “File > Delete Audio” from the main menu and clicking on the " deletes all audio files" button. This will delete all audio files in both your project and any subprojects that are associated with it.
  • By right-clicking on an audio file and choosing “Delete Audio.” This will delete only the audio file itself, not any associated subfiles.
