If you’re like most Kindle users, you probably have a few books and articles saved on your Kindle device that you don’t need anymore. Maybe you read them once and then put them away in a folder on your Kindle, or maybe you lent them to a friend and never got them back. Whatever the reason, it’s time to delete that Kindle account. To delete a Kindle account, open the Amazon Kindle app on your device and sign in. From the main menu, select “Your Account.” On the Your Account page, under “Your Devices,” select “Your Kindle.” Under “Manage Your Content and Devices,” select “Delete Device.” If you have books or articles saved on your Kindle that you don’t want to lose, select “Keep Items” before clicking Delete Device. ..
