If you’re one of the many PlayStation 4 owners who have been wondering how to deactivate your console, wonder no more! Here’s a step-by-step guide on how to do just that. First and foremost, make sure that you have an account with Sony. If you don’t, you’ll need to create one before proceeding. Once you have an account, log in and head over to the “My PS4” section of your account page. Under “System Settings,” find “Account Management.” On this page, select “Deactivate PS4.” Now that we’ve activated our account and found our way to the System Settings page, it’s time to figure out which PS4 we want to deactivate. To do so, head over to the “System Information” tab on your home screen and select “Model Number.” You’ll then be able to see which PS4s are currently active on your network. Select the one that you want to deactivate and press the button labeled “Deactivate.” Once you’ve deactivated your desired PS4, it’s time for the final step: deleting all of its data. To do so, head back over to the System Settings page and under “Account Management,” select “Data Management.” On this page, select all of the data associated with your deactivated PS4 (games saved on it, etc.) and press the button labeled “Delete Data.” After everything has been deleted, congratulations! You’ve successfully deactivated your PlayStation 4! ..
