If you’re using PlayStation 4 as your primary gaming platform, you may be familiar with the feature known as 2-step verification. This security measure helps protect your account from unauthorized access by verifying your identity before allowing you to login. To deactivate 2-step verification on your PlayStation 4, follow these steps:

  1. Open the PlayStation 4 system software and click on the “Settings” icon.
  2. Scroll down and click on the “2-Step Verification” tab.
  3. Under the “2-Step Verification Method” heading, select “None”.
  4. Click on the “Save Changes” button to finish setting up your new 2-step verification method.
