If you’re looking to crossplay GTA 5 on PC and PS4, there are a few things you’ll need to do first. First, make sure your PS4 is set up to allow crossplay. On the PC side, you’ll need to download and install the game’s official companion app. Once both systems are set up, all you need to do is start up GTA 5 and sign in with your PSN or Steam account. From there, just select the “Crossplay” option in the main menu and hit “Start.” Once both systems are connected, it’s time to get started. On the PC side, open up the game’s settings menu and click on “Video.” Underneath that, find “Settings for Cross-Platform Play.” Here, you’ll need to choose which version of GTA 5 you want to play on PC—either the original version released in 2013 or the updated version released last year. Once that’s done, hit “OK” and close out of the settings menu. On the PS4 side of things, open up the game’s main menu and select “PlayStation Network.” Underneath that, find “Friends” and click on it. Next, find your friend’s name in the list of people who are currently playing GTA 5 on their PS4 and click on it. Finally, hit “Join Game” and wait for them to sign into their account before starting up GTA 5 yourself. Once both systems are connected again (and signed into their respective accounts), it’s time for some serious carnage! ..
