There are a lot of ways to control the opacity of an image in Photoshop. You can use the opacity slider, the layer mask, or the clone Stamp tool. But this article is about one way to control z more than once. To create a gradient in Photoshop, you first need to create a layer and name it Gradient 1. Then, you need to add a color to it and name it Gradient 2. Finally, you need to add another color to Gradient 1 and Gradient 2 so that they have the same hue. Now that you have two colors in your gradient, you can use the following steps to control z:
- Choose one of your colors and click on its thumbnail to make it the active color. Then, use the arrow keys or your mouse wheel to move z around so that it’s at different levels (from 0% up to 100%). For example, if you want your gradient’s z value to be at 30%, then use these steps: (0%, 30%) (100%, 60%)
