When you want to connect two anchor points in Illustrator, you can use the Anchor Point tool. The Anchor Point tool is a shortcut for connecting two anchor points on the same layer. The following steps show how to use the Anchor Point tool:
- Choose the Anchor Point tool from the Tools palette.
- Drag one of the anchor points onto the other anchor point.
- Release the mouse button and drag both anchors to their new location.
