If you’re like most people, you probably have a few USB storage devices around your house. Whether they’re for your computer, phone, or media player, having a way to connect them to your PlayStation 4 is a must. Here are some tips on how to do it:
- Connect the USB storage device to the PlayStation 4 using an appropriate cable. Some USB storage devices come with cables that are specific to the device, while others require an extraUSB port on the back of the console. Make sure you have the correct cable when connecting your USB storage device to your PlayStation 4.
- Launch PlayStation 4’s system menu and select “Storage.” This will take you to a screen where you can see all of your connected USB storage devices. If there are any problems connecting your USB storage devices, make sure you check out our guide on how to fix problems with PlayStation 4’s built-instorage before continuing!
- Once all of your connected USB storage devices are listed in “Storage,” press “connect.” This will start up a dialogue box where you’ll need to enter the name of your USB drive and password for that drive (if it has one). After entering these details, press “connect” again and enjoy using all of those new files on your PlayStation 4!
