  1. Remove the hard drive and the memory card.
  2. Wet a cloth with warm water and wring it out. Wipe down all surfaces of the PS4 except for the power button and the light bar at the front.
  3. Pour a pot of white vinegar into a bowl and add 1 cup of water. Swish the PS4 around in the vinegar-water mixture for about 10 minutes, then rinse it off with cold water.
