If you have wisdom teeth that are difficult to clean, you may want to try using a syringe. This method is especially helpful if your dentist has told you that your wisdom teeth are in a difficult position and require special care. To use the syringe method, first make an appointment with your dentist. Explain that you would like to try using a syringe to clean your wisdom teeth. Your dentist may be willing to help you get started. Once you have made the appointment, bring along all of the supplies that you will need: a syringe, toothpaste, water, and a towel. Make sure that the toothpaste is soft enough so that it will not damage the tooth surface. To use the syringe method, first fill the syringe with water and squirt it into the toothpaste tube. Hold the tube close to the tooth surface and squeeze out a small amount of paste onto your finger. Rub this paste around all of the surfaces of each wisdom tooth socket. Be sure to avoid getting it in your mouth or on your tongue. After applying paste to each socket, insert the needle of the syringe into one of them and inject enough water into it so that it covers the paste inside of the socket. Hold onto the socket for about five seconds while gently squeezing out any excess water from the syringe. Repeat this process for each wisdom tooth socket. ..
