If you’re like most people, you probably use grip tape to keep your hands clean. But if you’re not careful, grip tape can also cause gum to build up on your hands. Here’s how to clean grip tape without using any of the common grip-tape cleaning techniques:
- Start by taking off all of the grip tape. This will help free your hands from the adhesive.
- Use a mild soap and water to clean the adhesive on your hands and nails. Be sure to rinse off completely before re-applying grip tape.
- Apply new grip tape and hold it in place for a few seconds so that the adhesive is fully cured (it should be slightly sticky). Remove the old grip tape and replace it with the new one!
