If your Weedeater carburetor is clogged, it can be a real pain to clean. Here’s how to do it:

  1. Remove the carburetor from the machine.
  2. Pour a pot of hot water into the machine and turn it on to full heat.
  3. Add a liberal amount of carburetor cleaner and stir until the cleaner is fully dissolved.
  4. Place the carburetor back into the machine and turn it off.
  5. Remove the air filter and pour a pot of hot water into the machine, filling it halfway up with water.
  6. Put the air filter in and let it soak for 10 minutes while you work on cleaning other parts of the machine.
  7. Drain all of the water from the machine, then place it back on its stand and remove all of the parts that you cleaned in step 5-6 (the float bowl, throttle body, air filter). ..
