If your Blu-ray player is dirty, you’ll need to clean it. Here’s how:

  1. Remove the disc from the player.
  2. Open the player and remove the top cover.
  3. Remove the four screws that hold the mainboard in place and remove it.
  4. Clean all of the dust and dirt off of the mainboard using a vacuum cleaner or a cloth. Make sure to get into all of the nooks and crannies.
  5. Replace the mainboard and screw it back in place.
