If you’re like most people, your car’s AC condenser is probably one of the dirtiest parts of your vehicle. And, if it’s not cleaned on a regular basis, it can become clogged with dust and debris, which will reduce the AC unit’s efficiency. Here are four easy steps to cleaning an AC condenser car:
- Remove any loose objects that could get caught in the fan blades. This includes anything from sunglasses to pieces of paper.
- Open all the windows in the car and turn on the A/C. This will help circulate air throughout the condenser and remove any dust or debris that may have settled there.
- Use a vacuum cleaner with a hose attachment to clean up around the condenser unit itself. Make sure to get into all nooks and crannies; a good rule of thumb is to cover an area twice as large as what you can see with your hand.
- Finally, use a bucket filled with water and some dish soap to rinse everything off thoroughly. Make sure to dry everything off before re-installing any components or windows! ..
